    RAHN, James Edward (Jim) - Of Cambridge, on Thursday, October 21, 2004, in his 48th year. Beloved son of Margaret Rahn and the late James T. Rahn. Dear brother of Robert and Judith Rahn of Calgary, AB, Paul and Beth Rahn of Ajax, Karen and Tom Slater of Cambridge, Lois and Brian VanHeugten of Oshawa and Caroline Fish of Cambridge. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Crystal and Jason Youroukis, Olivia and Matthew, Aaron and James, Brian and Robert, and Michael and Jessica, and great-niece and great-nephew, Chelsea and Dylan. Jim was born in Cambridge and had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, Volunteer with Out of the Cold, and an avid fisherman at the cottage for many years. The family received friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was conducted at Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, 132 Argyle St. N., Cambridge on Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Bynum officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

    RAHN, Margaret

    Of Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Saturday, Nov. 5, 1994, at her residence, in her 96th year. Margaret Hallman, beloved wife of the late Harry Rahn (1979). Predeceased by her mother and father; three sons, Gordon, Robert and James and one brother, Albert. Survived by three daughters-in-law, Audrey, Margaret and Grace, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Rahn was born in Roseville and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Preston Chapter. At the request of the family, a private visitation and funeral service has taken place, with Rev. Norris Heubner officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.

    HENRY RAHN

    PRESTON, July 13. Henry Rahn, 72, for the past 60 years a resident of Preston, died at his home yesterday afternoon. He had been in poor health for some months. Born in Germany, the late Mr. Rahn came to Canada and settled in the Preston district. For some 25 years he was employed by Peter Bernhardt and later, for a time, at the plant now known as the Schmidt Furniture Co. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Fred Denham, Mrs. Karl Homuth and Mrs. John Boehmer and two sons, Harry and Alfred, all of Preston. The funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon, from the residence, 1579 King street, at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Preston Cemetery.
