Passed away, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the age of 58 years. Loving husband of Maria Pavao (nee Furtado). Beloved father of Nelson Pavao and his wife Patricia of Cambridge and grandfather of Katana. Carlos is survived by his siblings, Evelina Carreiro, Joao Pavao, Isabel Canto, Valdmira Reis, Artur Pavao, Matilde Arruda, Maria Do Carmo and Venilde Sousa; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Artur and Maria Pavao; parents-in-law, Antonio and Isabel Furtado and brother-in-law, Emedio Canto. Resting at Corbett Funeral Rome, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A parish rosary will be recited at the funeral home this evening, at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin Street North, Cambridge, on Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at 10 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
