Suddenly, yet peacefully, at his residence in Cambridge on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, in his 79th year. Beloved brother of Maria Rosa Cabral. Predeceased by his parents, Bernardino and Maria Jesus Monteiro; his brother, Jose Monteiro and his sisters, Maria Gloria Monteiro, and Filomena Andrade. Born in Santa Maria, Azores on December 16, 1930, Antonio immigrated to Canada, in 1957 and was a retired employee of Walker Exhaust. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, especially by Joe, Dinis and Nelson Cabral. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Thursday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home chapel, at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, El-in St. S., Cambridge, on Friday, January 9, 2009, at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery.
