    ANDERSEN, Carl: Peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday December 21, 1998 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary Andersen. Carl is remembered by his dear friend Helen Jackson. Dear brother of Mary and her husband the late Don Grant and Janet and her husband Bob Moore. Carl is survived by his daughter-in-law Susan and his grandchildren Kristy and Ginny. Predeceased by his son Fred and brothers Lawrence and Svend and by his sister Margarite. Carl is formerly of St. Thomas where he owned a Shoe Factory in West Lorne. He relocated to Cambridge in 1964 where he managed the Scroggin Shoe Company before starting his own shoe factory here in Cambridge. Carl was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #121, and the Naval Veterans Association of Cambridge. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel Thursday December 24, 1998 at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
