BAIROS, Maria Jesus Chaves - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday February 14, 1997 in her 91st year. Maria Bairos is the beloved wife of the late Jose Bairos. Dear mother of Maria Monteiro of Cambridge, Jose and his wife Adelina of Cambridge, Francisco and his wife Florinda of Faial Azores, Angelo and his wife Salete of Cambridge, Ines and her husband Jose Chaves of Cambridge, Fr. Joao Bairos of Rome, Italy, Agostinho and his wife Eulalia of Winnipeg, Teresinha and her husband Antonio Bairos of Cambridge, Ernesto and his wife Armenia of Mississauga. Loved grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Conceicao Freitas of Mass., USA. She was predeceased by 2 children Antonio and Ines, her son-in-law Jose Monteiro and 2 brothers Jose and Manuel. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Sunday 7-9 pm, Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A parish Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 7: 45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church Cambridge on Wednesday February 19, 1997 at 9 am, Fr. C. Cunha celebrant. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery. Maria was a great supporter of missionary work, particularly Cruzada Missionaria. Remembrances made to the mission charity of your choice would honour Maria's memory.
