BULLOCK, Ethel Hilda Bullock - A lifetime resident of Cambridge, passed away peacefully, in her 97th year, on Monday, December 3, 2007 at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo. She was born in Brantford but moved to Cambridge (Preston) at a very early age. In 1937 she married her loving and devoted husband, Harry who predeceased her in 2000 after over 62 years of marriage. Ethel was an employee of Savage Shoes until her retirement in 1976. She was an adherent of Doon Presbyterian Church and was a life member of the Ladies Aid Society at the church. She is survived by her daughter, Pat and her husband Jim Connaughan of Eganville, Ont. She was the beloved grandmother of Jay and his wife Vicki Connaughan of Ottawa, Ont. and special great-grandmother of Logan and Sean Connaughan also of Ottawa. The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Years Assisted Living Centre and Pinehaven Nursing Home for the excellent and compassionate care they gave Ethel since 2002. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Debbie Feener for always being there for mom when we couldn't be. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
