    Harry Monk

    GALT, Harry Monk of 47 Crombie St., died today at his home. He was 79. Born in Birmingham, England, he came to Galt in 1914. He owned and operated Monk's Barber Shop for 50 years. He was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Galt Masonic Lodge A.F. and A.M. 257. Surviving are his wife, the former Sarah Lewin; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Field of Ottawa and Mrs. Donald (Gwen) Johnston of Guelph: one sister, Elsie, of Birmingham. England and five grandchildren. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, where a service will be conducted Wednesday, at 2 p.m., by Rev. K. J. Conyard. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery.
