Passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, December 21, 1988. Matthew McClurg of 168 Grand Avenue South, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Martha Godden (November 9th, 1988), dear father of Mrs. Winnifred Richards of Seatle Washington, Mrs. Irene Penhale of Kitchener, Mrs. Carol Waring of Cambridge, May (Mrs. William Swindell) of Ayr. Dear brother of Victor and Winnie both of Northern Ireland. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. McClurg was born on September 25, 1915, at Belfast Northern Ireland and has been a resident of Cambridge, for the past 8 years. Private family services were held from Coutts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 96 St. Andrews Street, on Thursday, December 22, (today). Interment Mount View Cemetery.
