Suddenly, at her home in Cambridge, on Sunday, March 9, 1997. Hilda Mayor (nee Jenkins) beloved wife of the late Melville Mayor (1992) and William Cooper (1974). Dear mother of Mel Cooper and his fiance Barbara Steubing, Wallace Cooper and his wife Margaret and Ethel Dillon and her husband Pat. Cherished grandmother of Bill and Lisa Cooper, Krista Dillon, Jodi Eckl and Kelly Cooper and great grandmother of Jordan and Jenna Lynn Eckl. Dear sister of Gertrude O'Brien and is predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) Cooper (1993). Friends will be received at LITTLE'S FUNERAL HOME, 223 Main Street East, Cambridge, Tuesday evening, from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, March 12, 1997, at 11: 00 a.m., with Paster Ynze Fliestra officiating. Interment New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.
