    Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, Oct 16, 1988, Thelma Sheppard. of Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Blackmore. Dear mother of Steven Harrison of Cambridge. Malcolm of St. John's, Nfld., Charles of Hamilton, Ralph and Harrison and Ethel (Mrs. Donald Goddard) of Waterloo; dear sister of Mrs. Alma Carter of Alliston, Ont. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Elsie; one brother and one sister. Mrs. Blackmore was born on October 18, 1903, at Bell Island, Nfld. and was a member of the Salvation Army and a member of the Salvation Songsters, the Home League and the League of Mercy. Resting at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. Interment Mount View cemetery.
