Passed away at Phoenix, Ariz., on Thursday, May 16, 1974, James Ira Hammond, formerly of Coronation Boulevard, Cambridge (Galt), beloved husband of the late Iris Hope Van Sickle; dear father of Jane (Mrs. Manuel Moritz) of Phoenix, Ariz. and John of Tempe, Ariz.; dear brother of Irvin of Cambridge (Galt); also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; predeceased by a son, William. Cremation will take place in Arizona. Funeral and committal services will be held from Coutts and Son Funeral Home chapel, 96 St. Andrew's St., Cambridge (Galt), on Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. Interment, Mount View cemetery, Cambridge.
