John Andrich - TERMINATED FATALLY - We regret to announce that the serious accident which happened to Mr. John Andrich, Little Germany, on the 7th of August last, has terminated fatally. Our readers will perhaps remember the accident which was caused by the fall of a portion of the frame of a new Catholic Church which was being erected in the village, and which was (illegible) by Mr. Andrich and a number of others. Mr. Andrich's spine was injured, and his case from the first to the last was almost considered hopeless. He steadily improved, however, until Saturday last, when he rapidly became worse and expired in a few hours. Mr. Andrich was only 35 years of age, and was a brother of Mr. Martin Andrich, of this town. The funeral of the late John Andrich was largely attended in Little Germany on Tuesday. It is said that nearly one thousand people were in the church, and many others unable to get access. The most extraordinary feature in connection with the ceremonies was the fact that six brothers of the deceased acted as pall bearers and the seventh carried a crucifix in front of the corpse.
