Peacefully, at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2000, in his 81st. year. Beloved husband of the late Edna Rose. Dear father of Charles (Margaret), William (Belinda), Gary (Wanda), Colin (Susan), Deborah (Terry Kennedy), Rowena (Jim Ward), Tena (Joe Chaves), all of Cambridge, Donna (Greg Power) of St. John's, Newfoundland and Colleen (John Boland) of Cambridge. Loving grandfather to 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Ewan Rose (Rita). Predeceased by his brothers, Harold and Lewellyn Rose and his sisters, Margaret and Rosetta. Mr. Rose was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Galt Branch #121. Friends will be received at Coutts & Sons Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Thursday and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service under the auspices of the R.C.L. Branch #121 will be conducted on Friday evening, at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 25, 2000, at 1 p.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
