Beloved son of Mrs. Margaret Near, Victoria, B.C. and the late William Near. Dear brother of Shirley Milbrandt, Cambridge, Ontario, Allan Near, Goodwood, Ontario, Donald Near, Hanover, O-tario and Carol O'Rourke, Victoria, B.C., 9 nieces and nephews. Ken had resided in Calgary since leaving Ontario, in 1978. Cremation in Calgary followed by Interment in family plot Victoria, B.C. Arrangments intrusted to The Sands Funeral Chapel Limited, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, B.C.
