DOIRON, Mildred August 29, 1920 - May 29, 2014 Peacefully, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, in her 94th year. She was a resident of Golden Years Nursing Home. Predeceased by husband Leonard Doiron, eleven siblings and parents, Lucy and Joseph Beaudry, and son Randolf Doiron. Beloved mother of Kay Davidson (Ken) and Betty Nickel (predeceased Don). Cherished by grandchildren Debbie (Daryl), Marion (Andrew), Paul (Tiffany), Matthew (Tera), Christopher, Randy (Michelle), Lisa (Aaron), nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mildred was born and raised in Dalhousie, New Brunswick. She became a nurse and began her career in Dalhousie. Moved to Cambridge, Ontario in 1967 and continued her career at Golden Years Nursing Home and retired as a nurse from Preston Spring Gardens at 65. Mildred's passions were reading, sketching and painting. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at Golden Years Nursing Home. Friends will be received by the family for a Celebration of Life at Temple Baptist Church, 400 Holiday Inn Drive, on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
