ILOWSKI, Ethel - Passed away peacefully, at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge, on Thursday, November 01, 2007, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Ilowski (1960). Loving mother of John and his wife Tracey of Ottawa and Janice DeJong of Kitchener. Cherished grandma of Nathan and Bethany DeJong. Predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Shepherd and her sister, Anne Livingstone. Ethel was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and Rockway Senior Centre. Ethel's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service for Ethel will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In honour of the wonderful care given to Ethel, donations to the Golden Years Residents' Counsel would be greatly appreciated by the family.
