    SMITH, Cora Pearl (nee Sneath)

    On Sunday, March 4, 1990, at Parkwood Manor, Waterloo, Cora Smith, formerly of Erb Street West, Waterloo, in her 81st year. Mrs. Smith was a member of Benton Street Baptist Church. A long-time member of the Canadian Kennel Club; participated in the activities in the Adult Recreation Centre, Waterloo, graduated from the University of Western Ontario, London and had taught school in Cambridge until her retirement. Wife of Arthur of Cambridge; dear mother of Eleanor (Ellie) and her husband George McCaig) of New Dundee, Jamie and his wife Helen of Cambridge and Rebecca (Becky) Smith of Kitchener; sister of Roy Sneath of North Burnaby, B.C. and Ruth and her husband Allan Howlett of London, Ont. Mrs. Smith will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Dave McCaig, Jerry and Bradley Cudney, Todd, Shelley and Sean Smith and her great-grandson. Predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Austin and Floyd Sneath and her daughter. Pearl in infancy. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, Rev. Harold Reese officiating. Spring interment in Blair cemetery.
