Schmitt, Ellen Mary (nee Pike) - Peacefully, on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, with her husband Floyd and her son Dennis by her side, Ellen, age 74 years, of St. Jacobs. Dear sister of Myrtle and her husband Nelson Marschall of Kitchener. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Irene; brothers, George, Bert, Glen and Jim. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. At noon on Friday, transfer will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg for funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Olaf Poulsen officiating, following by interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Heidelberg. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, Grand River Hospital Foundation or St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heidelberg would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
