I Wilhelm Gehl of the Township of Waterloo, do make and ordain this my last will and testament…I give and bequeath to my dear beloved wife Margret(sic) one hundred and sixty six acres be the same more or less being composed of lots no 141 and 142, to youse(sic) and manage as long as she think proper and all the stock and farming utensils and house furniture and after his decease the whole estate is to be divided equil to my children and if one or two of the children would like to have the farm they should have a reasonably time to pay the farm. If neither of my children wish to have the farm then the farm is to be sold, and if my wido(sic) thinks it proper to sell the land and every thing she shall have full power with the Executor. I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Margaret Gehl Executrix and also my son Anton Gehl Executor.
