    William Dotzert Passed Away

    The sad death took place this morning at 5.30 a.m. of William Dotzert, aged 59 years, 9 months and 23 days. The deceased was born in North Easthopo and was will and favorably known. For a number of years he carried on a teamster business in Waterloo, later being employed in the G.T.R. freight sheds up to a few months ago when he was forced to lay off work. He gradually became worse and his death was not unexpected. To mourn his sad demise he leaves a sorrowing widow; 3 daughters, viz., Adeline, Alberta, Luella, Alma and Mrs. Gordon Raymond (Kitchener), and 3 sons, Harold at home, Edwin, (Breslau), and Clayton with the 118th Batt. in France. One brother, David Amulrie, and 6 sisters, Mrs. Studen, Ohio; Mrs. Bucher, Ohio; Mrs. Kleinkneclit, New Hamburg; Mrs. Roth, New Hamburg; Mrs. Rock, Lisbon, and Mrs. Yost. Kingwood, also survive. The funeral will be held from the residence, Foundry Street, on Saturday, July 7th, at 2.30 p.m. to Mt. Hope Cemetery for interment.

    Mrs. Mary Dotzert

    Mrs. Mary Dotzert, a resident of Waterloo for 43 years, died at her home, 25 Euclid Avenue, on Sunday morning. She was in her 72nd year. Mrs. Dotzert had been in failing health for some time and suffered a partial stroke a week ago. She was born in North Easthope township. Her husband, William Dotzert, predeceased her 18 years ago. She is survived by three sons, Edwin, Clayton (Waterloo postmaster), and Harold Dotzert of Waterloo and five daughters, Mrs. William D. Brill, Mrs. Gordon Raymond, Mrs. Sherwood Ewald, Mrs, Wm. Kurschinski and Mrs. Roy Wildfang of Waterloo, one sister, Mrs. John Becker, Kitchener, and two brothers, Harry Schoenhals, Kitchener, and John Schoenhals, Clinton. Seventeen grandchildren also survive. One sister predeceased her eight months ago. The funeral was held Wednesday from the residence to St. John's Lutheran Church, Interment was made at Mount Hope cemetery.

    Mrs. C. Schoenhals

    An aged resident of Waterloo. Mrs. C. Schoenhals, passed away on Monday morning, Sept. 28, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Dotzert, in her 91st year. Two sons survive, John of Clinton and Harry of Kitchener, and three daughters, Mrs. Win. Dotzert of Waterloo, Mrs. John Becker of Kitchener and Margaret of Waterloo. Also 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. The funeral was held from the late residence on Thursday afternoon last to St. John's Lutheran church for service thence to Mount Hope cemetery for interment.
