    CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Boullee on Tuesday celebrated the 50th anniversary of their marriage in the shape of a family reunion, at which their family of three daughters, Florence, wife of Mr. C.E. Richardson, MLA, of St. Mary's, Lulu, Mrs. Dr. F.C. Becker, and Helma, Mrs. P.H. Paton, of Toronto, with their husbands and families were present. Mrs. J.F. Katzenmeier, bridesmaid of 50 years ago was one of the guests and Mr. Boullee's brother, Dr. Ontario Boullee, of Cleveland, Ohio, came as a surprise visitor, much to the delight of the aged couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Boullee were married in Sebringville by Rev. W. Schmidt assisted by Rev. J.C. Morlock. The groomsman and bridesmaid were Mr. and Mrs. Katzenmeier, the latter then being Miss Catharine Goetz, a cousin of the bride.

Mr. Boullee was born and lived his whole life in New Hamburg, being a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W.H. Boullee. For fifty years he conducted a drug business in town, retiring ten years ago, after being one of the oldest men continuously in business in town, Mr. Boullee for his nearly 80 years is still very active and has an exceptional retentive memory. He served the town for several years as Councilor and still takes interest in town affairs. Mr. Boullee had the distinction of owning the first bicycle in town, when these two wheeled vehicles were looked upon as a wonderful invention by the people of that time.

Mrs. Boullee is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Goetz, of Sebringville. She is 78 years of age and has been a partial invalid for the past two years owing to a slight stroke, but is otherwise in fair health. Both are adherents of the Evangelical Church. The aged couple were serenaded by the New Hamburg Musical Society band during the evening.
