    JAMES CORRIGAN

    PRESTON, April 13 --- A well known Preston resident for the past 40 years, James Corrigan, William Street, died at the Galt Hospital, yesterday. In his 65th year, the deceased had been in ailing health for the past 15 years, as the result of an accident. Born in Stratford, the Iate Mr. Corrigan resided there, for 24 years when he then came to Preston, making his home here since that time. He was a member of the Anglican church and of Cambridge Lodge No. 188, Preston. He was a woodworker by trade. Surviving are his wife, nee Anne Elizabeth Tilk, three sisters, Mrs. Fred Bryant, Stratford, Mrs. Donald MacLennan, Hamilton, Mrs. George Brewer, St. Thomas and a brother, Harry Corrigan, of Edmonton. The late Mr. Corrigan is resting at his residence, 448 William Street, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2.30 p.m. Interment will be in Preston cemetery.

    James married Annie Elizabeth Tilk 21 Sep 1904, , Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Annie (daughter of Charles Tilk and Isabell Gilfillan) was born 5 Aug 1885, Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co., Ontario, Canada; died 1952; was buried , Preston Cemetery, Cambridge, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.
