    J A Good, 81, of 39 Alma St., died at K-W Hospital yesterday after a brier illness. Born at Clarinda, Ohio, son of the late Mr and Mrs Jacob G Good, he had been a resident of Kitchener for the past 68 years. His marriage to Elizabeth Guth, who survives, took place in Kitchener in 1897. Mr Good was a deacon of King St. Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs Floyd Bechtel (Margaret), Kitchener; one brother, Rev C N Good, Kitchener, and one sister, Mrs Ivey Holman, Guelph. Four grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by one son, Rev Henry Good in 1934 and one sister Mrs Peter Eby. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 pm at the Ratz-Bechtel Home, 621 King St West with Rev H E Morphy (sic) officiating. Internment will be in Woodland Cemetery. The body is resting at the funeral home.

In 1862 he came to Canada and was engaged in different places in Waterloo County, Ontario. On September 3rd, 1865, he was married to Rosena Frank who was born October 18th, 1842. Since 1891 they have resided in Berlin where he is engaged in blacksmithing and horseshoeing. His family consisted of four children"
