It is with deep regret and affection that we announce the passing of Rose Kinzie, surrounded by family, on January 23, 2020. She was 90 years old.

Rose was the daughter of Jake and Wilma Voisin and sister to 4 remaining siblings Eleanor, Cecilia, Margaret and Mary and 6 deceased: Elizabeth, Christine, Aloysius, Veronica, John and Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Harvey.
She will be truly missed by her 5 daughters: Debra (Alan), Cheryl (Garth), Sandra (the late Cliff), Judy (the late Gary) and Darlene (Brad). She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren; Stuart, Jarett, Steve (Leona), Trayton, Melissa, Curtis (Janeen) and Codie. She will be remembered by her extended family Robert (Kari), David (Jackie) and 2 great-grandchildren: Katrina and Landon.

Rose led a full life devoted to her family and faith.

She had many endearing qualities, one of which was her ability to make people feel welcome and special. She often spoke proudly of her family, past and present. She was a guiding light to many. Rose loved to see the world with her husband, yet return to the solace of her home. She created beauty through her gardening, painting and needlework. PAYS FIRST TAX AT 99 By Record Staff Writer

PRESTON - Mrs. Daniel (Minnie) Kinzie, who was 99 Monday, experienced something new this year - the paying of income tax. Developers have paid more than $100,000 to Mrs. Kinzie for her home and 28 acre property on Limerick Road. Thus she filed her first income tax return this year based on the interest she has received from the money, Mrs. Kinzie and her husband, who died in 1920, purchased the property in 1912. Terms of the sale allow her to live the rest of her life in the home.
