| Writing Desk A rectangular wooden portable writing desk with a lid hinged to the top. A paper label has been applied to the top of the lid, which has a black background, a gold banner across the centre with a green ribbon on the right and red roses above and below the banner. "WRITING DESK" is printed across the banner in red. Inside the lid and the bottom half of the box are two hinged flaps that are covered with purple velvet with a black and gold paper border. The top flap is held closed by a small clip at the top of the lid. The flap inside the lid conceals a shallow compartment. The other flap also conceals another shallow compartment. There is a paper label on the underside of this flap that reads: "Clayton and Keymer School Board. Prize. Awarded to Ivy Pinkett. For regular attendance and good conduct during the past school year. T.H.R. Shank. Chairman. December, 1900". |

| Zimmerman House Bowman House built in 1840 by Henry Bowman on the north east corner of King and Erb Streets and was initially known as the Farmer's Hotel. In 1867 directory lists William L. Bowman as the proprietor. In 1882 it was bought by Henry Zimmerman and eventually the name was changed to Zimmerman House. A fire in 1889 destroyed a major part of the front facing King Street. It was rebuilt and a third floor added. In 1889 the Canadian Bank of Commerce opened an office on the main floor.
In 1904 it was bought by Mark Lewis and was renamed the Lewis Hotel. in 1935 it was opened as the Hotel Waterloo.
