      August 23, 1893 Louise Hoffman, daughter of the widow Susanna Hoffman, of Columbus, Ohio & Herman Rittinger, youngest son of Friedrich Rittinger, joint publisher of the "Berlin Journal", were married by Pastor Christian Heddaeus, Columbus.
