  Chris Erb, 82, Died June 29 At Hospital Services were conducted today, Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Mennonite church in Beemer for Chris Erb 82, Beemer with Rev. Sam Oswald officiating. Interment will be at the Lake Region Cemetery at Detroit Lake, Minn. Friday morning. Mr. Erb died June 29 at the Memorial hospital in West Point where he had been taken a week before. He had been in failing health since last fall. Chris Eb, Beemer was born to Menno and Nattie Erb June 27, 1882 in Canada and as a youth came to the Cuming County area. He was married Febr. 13, 1907 to Barbara Oswald and lived near West Point until 1949 when they moved to Detroit Lakes, Minn. Mr. Erb moved back to Beemer in 1958 and has lived with his son, Wilford and family until three weeks before he died. He had just gone to stay with another son, Leonard at West Point. Mr. Erb was a member of the Mennonite church at Beemer. Preceding him in death was a son, Menno in 1960 and his wife, Barbara in 1956.
