  de VRIES, Rev. (Sy) Bren - Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday January 19, 2007 in his 87th year. Survived by his best friend and soulmate of 61 plus years, Ina. Deeply missed by his children, Peter, Johanna (Senft), Marianne (Einwechter), Frank, Paul and Brian and their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on January 24 at 11 a.m. at Holland Christian Homes, Brampton in the horizon room. The Record newspaper - Jan. 22, 2007
