Notes |
- David Y. Lehman and Anna Kilmer were married in 1865 at Wakarusa, Indiana. After the death of Anna, David put the children to neighbors and friends, then traveled with horse and buggy from Indiana to Elmira, Ontario, in 1882. There he joined the Stauffer Mennonites. He married a widow, Catharine Krupp. After the Stauffer group moved to Iowa, they joined the Reformed Mennonites. They later moved to May City, Iowa, and in 1915 to Brutus, Michigan. He died at Shelby, Michigan.
