  DEATH OF MRS. JAS. DIXON On Wednesday afternoon last, Mrs. Dixon of Queen street passed away after a very brief illness. The deceased lady was one of the oldest, residents of Galt. She was never in very robust health having suffered from a variety of complaints, the immediate cause of death being pleurisy. The surviving family are her husband, three sons and two daughters. The sons are Rev. John Dixon, D. D. of Trenton, N. J., Mr. Jas. Dixon, Jeweller, New York City and Mr. Hugh Dixon of Minneapolis. The Dumfries Reformer 21 Apr 1891 pg 1
