  Arnold Bartscher - Arnold Bartscher, 54, of 145 Arnold St., died Saturday night in K-W Hospital after being stricken with a heart attack while riding home from the K-W Industrial Exhibition. He was a passenger in a car driven by his son, Harold. Mr. Bartscher, an employee of Merchants Rubber Company for the past 47 years, was born October 8, 1894, in Kitchener. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernhardt Bartscher. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Alma Schmidt, died July 2, 1955. Surviving are a son, Harold of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. John (Lucilla) Lovett of Kitchener; three brothers, Edwin and Thomas, both of Kitchener, and Earl of Galt; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Brooks of Kitchener and Mrs. Ross Webb of Waterloo; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son in infancy. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. John Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
