    • Christian owned the Commercial Hotel in Guelph; he also built a row of fine houses across the street from the Agricultural College and his wife and her niece served meals to personnel from the College. hey had 3 children - George who ran the Commercial Hotel and the Regent Theatre in Guelph, he did not marry; Norman also did not marry - he owned the International Hotel in Welland and the Queen's Hotel in Stratford, Ontario. Their sister, Emmaline married Louis Napoleon Edward LaFontaine and had 5 children.
