Notes - Leis, Ralph A. On Monday, July 31, 1995, at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Ralph Albert Leis of Nithview Home for Seniors Village, New Hamburg, formerly of Wellesley. Mr. Leis was born in Wellesley 72 years ago, son of the late Peter Leis and the former Veronica Leis. Ralph was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church. He was employed at Jones Feed Mill Ltd., in Wellesley for 40 years. He retired in November of 1988. Beloved husband of the former Sarah L. Gerber, whom he married July 9, 1947. Loving father of Doris and her husband Michael Braun of Waterloo, Shirley and her husband William Hosea of Wellesley, Doreen and her husband Laverne Erb of RR 1 Millbank; dear brother of Nelson and his wife Mary Leis of RR 1 Wellesley, Mervin and his wife Lois Leis of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, where the family will receive relatives and friends this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Thursday, Aug. 3, removal will be made to the Maple View Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Ray Erb will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
