    • Died In Ayr, on Saturday, February 22nd, 1919, at 6 o'clock p. m. Mary Hunter Beloved wife of George Landreth, In her 60th year. The Funeral Will take place from her late residence, Bute Street, on Tuesday, February 25, at 2. 30 p. m., to Ayr Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.

      Death of Mrs. Landreth
      - Another well-known and highly esteemed resident of this community, in the person of Mrs. George Landreth, Bute Street, Ayr, passed away on Saturday evening after a lingering illness, deeply mourned by her family and a wide circle of friends. She was born in Blenheim 60 years ago, being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Hunter, and was married about 37 years ago to Mr. George Landreth, who, together with an only daughter, Mrs. Hugh Baxter, survives. A sister, Miss Elizabeth Hunter of Ayr, is also a survivor. The deceased was a Presbyterian and a consistent member of Knox United Church. She was also a member of the Mission Society and, when her health permitted, was active in church work. the funeral, which took place on Tuesday to the Ayr cemetery was largely attended, the service being conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. J. Brown. The pallbearers were Messrs. J. R. Folsetter, Harry Russell, Thomas McMillan, R. J. Carrick, David Wright and John W. Hunt.
