    • LANDRETH, George H.

Mr. George H. Landreth, Queen Street, aged 59 years, was found in his bedroom this morning, by his sister, Mrs. H. Schoenfeld, who lives next door. On Saturday, Mrs. Landreth left for Buffalo, to visit her sons there.and her husband took his meals, at his sisters, next door and slept in his own bed. Yesterday morning, Mr. Landreth took charge of his classes at the Methodist Church Sunday School and attended service there. He appeared in his usual health, yesterday evening and as is his custom , retired early. When he did not arrive at his sisters for breakfast this morning, an investigation was made and he was found lying dead in his bedroom. Dr. Wardlaw was summoned and declared death due to paralysis. Deceased had lived in Galt many years and was employed at the Axe Factory and later at Cowan & Co's. He was a Methodist and was a Past Master of Court Grand River, No. 5962 A.O.F. His mother died 3 weeks ago. His wife and three sons, Bert and James of Buffalo and Hudso of Detroit, survive. Four sisters, Mrs. J. D. MacRae, Mrs. D. Fairgrieve and Mrs. Schoenfeld of Galt and Mrs. A. O. Brown of Rapid City, Manitoba and one brother, James of Rochester also mourn his loss. The funeral will take place from his late residence, to Mount View Cemetery.
