• Notes

  A large funeral service, which bespoke the esteem in which he was held, was conducted on Tuesday at 2: 30 from the Stager Funeral Home, Galt St. , Hespeler, for Mr. Rahman, who passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, May 1, 1954, at his residence at R. R. #3, Galt. Rev. C. S. Roberts, minister of St. James' Lutheran Church, officiated at the service. Pallbearers: Wilfred Gilroy of Guelph; Robert Ferguson of R. R. #2, Puslinch; Ira Bowes of R. R. #1, Hespeler; Laverne Bartels of R. R. #1, Hespeler; and Howard Gillow of Hespeler. Flowerbearers of friends and neighbours formed a guard of honour. Interment Hespeler Cemetery.
