  DEATH OF WM. MULHOLLAND Mr. Wm. Mulholland who died on Monday last, was one of the very few survivors of the early settlers of Beverly. He was a descendant of the U. E. Loyalists, who settled in Canada, during the American Revolution. His family took land in Glanforcl township, County of Wentworth, where the deceased was born. When quite a young child, the family removed to Beverly and the deceased resided there for nearly seventy years. Some few years ago, he removed to Galt and has resided here ever since. The surviving members of his family are his widow, two daughters, viz. Mrs, Ellis of Galt, and Mrs. McQueen in British Columbia and two sons, William H. and James H. both of Galt. Another daughter, Mrs. Whetham of Beverly, died a few months since. The funeral took place, on Wednesday afternoon, to Sheffield Cemetery. The Dumfries Reformer 25 Jun 1891 pg 1
