  POECHMAN, Elizabeth Rose "Bette" (nee Kuenzig) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Howard for 59 years. Cherished mom of Patricia and Michael. Her loss will be felt by her sister, brothers, in laws, and her numerous nieces and nephews. Bette was a devoted volunteer hostess at the Ted Wake 50+ Johnson Centre for 17 years. Bette along with her husband were members of the Centre's Garden Club. In her spare time Bette enjoyed crafts especially her love of cross stitching which produce many wonderful pictures to treasure. Bette's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A Private family service will be held and the Inurnment will take place in New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge. Waterloo Region Record: Apr 26, 2016 _______________________ McCORMICK, Marguerite "Marg" Mary (née Kuenzig) Of Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham and formerly of Teeswater, passed away suddenly at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, October 3, 2016 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Schaefer (1967) and William "Bill" McCormick (2006). Loving mother of Connie Fischer (Paul) and Betsy Schaefer (Dennis Dobson) all of Teeswater and John McCormick of Wingham. Sadly missed by grandchildren Brittany Fischer (Jakub Wesolowski) of Kitchener and Anthony Fischer (Stephanie Harrison) of Teeswater. Dear sister of Gib Kuenzig, Gerald Kuenzig and Charles Kuenzig (Ruth) all of Teeswater. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Bill Templeman of Wingham, Howard "Howie" Poechman of Cambridge, several nieces and nephews and many extended family members from the Schaefer, McCormick and Dobson families. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Florina (née Kunkel) Kuenzig, sister Bette Poechman and sisters-in-law Patricia Kuenzig, Yvonne Kuenzig and Eileen "Ike" Templeman and brother-in-law Harold McCormick. Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with vigil prayers at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Father Michael Anderson officiating. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Braemar Residents Council would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
