  Grantham & Co., Stoves, Tinware, etc, Main Street - Galt is well provided with first-class business houses where goods can be purchased as cheaply and of as good quality as in any other city in the Dominion. Among those prominently identified in the stove and hardware line is the firm of Messrs. Grantham & Co., whose premises are located on Main Street, and are 26x40 feet in dimensions and two stories in height. Here is carried in stock a splendid assortment of stoves and ranges, made by the most celebrated manufacturers in the Dominion; also a full line of tinware of all descriptions, shelf hardware, cutlery, machinists' tools, and sewing machines. The business was established three years ago, and has steadily increased in extent ever since, the firm doing now not only a town but a country trade as well. They give employment to three competent assistants. Mr. Grantham, the senior member of the firm, is a native of Canada, and his partner, Mr. H. Walford, is an Englishman by birth. Both gentlemen are thoroughgoing business men, and are building steadily up an enviable trade in the community in which they are held in high regard.
