  Death of Mrs. Jas. McKendrick It is with regret that we announce today the death of this well-known lady, which took place at her residence on Monday morning last. As our readers are generally aware, cancer developed itself in Mrs. McKendrick's system some time ago, and notwithstanding the best of care and advice, and the fact that she twice submitted to operations looking to its removal, it gradually sapped her strength until she sank to her long rest on the morning mentioned. Mrs. McKendrick was a daughter of the late John Crane, (whose obituary appears in another column) and leaves a husband, one daughter and three sons, to mourn her sad death.
