Notes |
- Col. MacKendrick Weds Anne Spratt
A wedding of considerable in- terest to people in Oakville and elsewhere was solemnized last Thursday afternoon at the estate of Col. W. G. MacKendrick, lakeshore road east, when Col. Mac- tKendrick and Miss Anne E. Spratt, of Toronto, were married. The ceremony was a quiet one, being attended only by immediate members of the family. Rev. E. J. Springett, of Toronto, Dominion commissioner of the British Israel World Federation, officiated.
The bride was attired in a lighter-than-navy ensemble, with long coat cut on straight lines, and felt hat to match. The living room, in which the ceremony took place, was decorated with gladioli. After the ceremony a buffet supper was served, following which Col. and Mrs. MacKendrick left for New York to sail on the Queen Mary for a visit to Europe.
