  Abraham Cressman, "the fourth, and youngest son of John and Mary (Shantz) Cressman) was first married to Amanda Histand and after her death to Judith Shantz. They reside in Blenheim Township, near Washington P. O., where he is engaged in farming." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ___________________ Cressman. - Abram Cressman was born near Plattsville, Ont., Aug. 12, 1860; died suddenly of heart failure Dec. 28, [1929]; aged 68 y. 4 m. 16 d. On Oct. 9, 1883, he was united in marriage to Amanda Histand who died Nov. 23, 1886. To this union was born one daughter. On Dec. 12, 1888 he was married to Judith Shantz. To this union were born 3 sons and 1 daughter. One son preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, 2 sons, 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, and 1 brother. About 39 years ago he united with the Mennonite Church to which he remained faithful to the end. Funeral services were held at the Blenheim Mennonite church Dec. 31, in charge of Moses H.
