  Gone to Her Rest We regret to state that the illness from which Mrs. John Black has suffered for the past few weeks terminated fatally on Friday last. From the first there was little, if any, hope of recovery; and although as the end drew near she apparently recovered consciousness so far to express it with her eyes, she was unable to speak to the last. She leaves a sorrowing husband and five children, the youngest of whom is only a few weeks old. We extend our earnest sympathy to Mr. Black in his bereavement. The funeral took place on Monday last, and was largely attended.
