  Mrs. Carl Ritchie Passes Unexpectedly Although in failing health for four months, Mrs. Carl Ritchie died at her home yesterday at the age of 57 from a heart seizure. Born in London township on March 31, 1894, she was the former Lena Edna Wilkin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Wilkin. She was a member of Livingston Presbyterian Church in Baden and of the Ladies' Aid of that church. Surviving besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Hunter, Niagara-on-the- Lake; Mrs. James (Miriam) Johnston of Bloomington, Ind., and Shirley of St. Catharines. Also surviving are three brothers, A. C. Wilkin of Belleville; Fred of Vancouver and Dr. Wyllie of Warman, Sask., and two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Truman, Montreal, and Mrs. M. Rowell of London. The body is resting at the Futher-Omand Funeral Home, New Hamburg. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. New Hamburg Independent 6 Apr 1951
