  SCHMIDT, Howard David - On Saturday April 8, 1978, at St. Mary's Hospital, Howard David Schmidt, aged 67 years, of 56 Filbert Street, Kitchener. He was born in Kitchener and manager of Industrial Creative Arts, Waterloo. A member of Reformation Lutheran Church. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schmidt; husband of Kathleen (Kay) Walsh; father of Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Weinstein of Kitchener and Mrs. Peter (Susan) Gruneberg of Conestogo. Also survived by five grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, John, one brother and one sister. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 2 p.m. on Sunday, for funeral services in the chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Paul Eydt officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
