  SOEHNER, Wallace C. "Wally" - Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Wally Soehner, age 84 years of Kitchener, formerly of RR 1, Listowel. Beloved husband of the late Anna (Doherty) Soehner. Dear father of Bernie, Henry (Anita), Paul (Brenda), Wallace (Dianne), Joe (Janette), Steven (Tia), Craig (Tracey), Joannie (Dennis) Pratt, Pat (Jackie), Maryann (Dean) Wickens, Kevin (Gary). Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his brother, Harry and his sisters, Joyce, Connie and Janice. Predeceased by his sons, Wayne (1969), Bob (1992); daughters, Sharon Bolender (1996), Elaine (1998), Brenda Hogg (2005); parents, Henry and Bertha (Hoelscher) Soehner; brother, Lorne and sister, Pauline. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Flamingo Drive, Elmira on Saturday, March 8 at 10: 30 a.m. with Father Paul Voisin CR officiating. Spring interment at St. Joseph's R.C. Cemetery, Macton. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3: 45 p.m. The Soehner family would like to express their thanks to the Veterans Affairs and the staff at Millwood Manor, Kitchener for their loving care over the years.
