    • Death of Galt Citizen,

      One of Galt''s most prominent men passed away on Friday in the person of John Cant, cx-alderman and reeve of the city. and former well-known manufacturer of tools. He was 86 years of age and had lived here for the past 73 years, coming direct to Galt from Scotland. He was a Presbyterian, an honorary manager of Knox Church. One son and two daughters survive.
