  Nelson S. Stauffer, "was born December 22nd, 1862. On October 14th, 1885, he was married to Charlotte, daughter of Joseph H. and Catherine (Moyer) Moyer. She was born at the Twenty, Lincoln County, Ontario, October 23rd, 1864. They reside in Chicago, Illinois, where he is engaged in manufacturing all kinds of temperance drinks. She died July 22nd, 1895, leaving a family of two children, namely: Luella and Roy." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
