  • Notes
    • The Late S. Turnbull - Speaking of the death of this young resident of Galt, which took place in Guelph last Wednesday, the Mercury of Saturday had the following: - "The deceased was a nephew of Mr. Samuel Moffat, of this city, and came to Guelph three weeks ago to pay his uncle and aunt a short visit. When here a week he was taken sick with brain fever, and gradually became worse. The best medical skill of the city was employed, and everything done that was possible for the recovery of the young lad, but without avail. The remains were taken by train to Galt yesterday, and the funeral was very largely attended by friends of the deceased in that town."
