  UPPER David W. -- At the Freeport Hospital, on Saturday, May 31, 1980, following a lengthy illness, David Walter Upper, aged 74 years, of 48 Agnes St., Kitchener He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and the IOOF Listowel Lodge 160. Beloved husband of the late Elvera Detweiler, who predeceased him in 1978. Brother of John of Atwood, William of Listowel and Roy of Hamilton. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Hanna Springer and Mrs. Ada Heibein. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral and committal service in the chapel on Wednesday, 2 p.m., with Rev. Grant MacDonald officiating. Interment Memory Gardens. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 31 May 1980
